Amazing experience! The staff were very friendly and helped me and my husband to choose the kimono and accessories, and I also opted for a braided hairstyle. They’re close to the train station and a 7eleven and you can keep the kimonos until around 5-5:30pm. There’s an option to pay for a insurance in case anything happens to the kimono (mud, food stains, etc.) and I recommend it if you want to have some peace of mind. Thank you guys for making our experience in Nara even more special! Arigatougozaimasu :)

Beautiful large selection of kimonos. The store is nice and clean.The staff are super caring and warm, they advise you even if you have difficulties finding the right one.The dressing and hair styling was done super quickly.In the end I was dressed in a beautiful kimono.I was also approached by people to take a photo with them.I can warmly recommend this pretty and lovely store.Best regards from Klaudia from Poland. 🥰💝

My mum and i really loved getting kimonos here! They where so pretty and good quality! We went for the standard however there were so many obi belts to chose from along with accessories that by the time we chose everything it cost a good bit more :). The ladys working there where so kind, very fast and efficent at dressing us and our hair turned out amazing!! The plan was to get kimonos in kyoto but due to rain we didnt, we are so happy we did it in Nara and here instead. Thank you so much ♡♡

I am from Argentina, I reserved online a category and a schedule in Nara bus station shop. A basic kimono with belt and a hair pin. I declined the sandals and purse for practical reasons. They dressed me, recommended hair pin very kindly.You can pay a small fee as warranty if sth happens to the kimono. Left my clothes in a numbered bag at the store.Very happy with the experience! They were quick and nice.

We rented kimonos in Nara Park. The kimonos were very beautiful and there were many sizes to choose from. The staff was very friendly, kind, and patient. You can leave your clothes and bags there until you come back. They also offer power banks for rent. Thank you to the wonderful staff for the great experience!

Waplus was fantastic! The women working there were lovely and the kimonos were top notch! A lot of kimono rental places have really cheap looking kimonos. Mine was gorgeous! I got compliments from a group of elderly Japanese women!

The women in this shop are so kind and accommodating. We got a chance to wear some beautiful kimono around Nara. At some point my obi was constricting so much my ribs were starting to hurt. We went back to the shop and they immediately fixed it so I was more comfortable. I really appreciate how quickly they did it too, so we could continue our day
